It really did not surprise me that Forbes has seen what I have been seeing - that Albany area real estate has been holding value despite the "gloom and doom" of other markets.

The Jan 7. 2009 publication states that our region never had the "ups and downs" of the hot markets seen in other parts of the country and they predict that our values will remain steady throughout 2009.  Here is the link:

That's good news in the midst of the bad ecomonic news we have been hearing day in and day out. I guess there is a silver lining in all of this.. back to selling homes and helping people with real estate needs!
